Sasha Khan's inspiration for his Symbols EP was drawn from early 90's Jungle Techno and Hardcore; up-dated with modern Drum and Bass production techniques and Synthesis.

The lead track, "Love Song" is a gentle nod towards "The Lighter" by DJ SS, which sampled 1970's film "Love Story"'s theme. "Infinite Possibilities" makes use of a repetitive bass riff and chopped Amen's; layered with other breaks. Finally, "Questions" was inspired by Derby-based dnb producer: DJ Theory.

Kicking things off in a typically upbeat fashion, this Bristol-based collective enlists legendary singer David Boomah and Run Tingz resident MC Jamaican-born Blackout JA.

The release features five (yes, five!) mixes of the tune with international Jungle legends RCola, Tester and newcomer HoT on the remix duties! The vinyl also features a slightly more dubbed-out amen remix from the label bosses G.Tactix and J.Man so there is something here to keep everyone happy!

The release will be available on 12" vinyl and digital formats from January / February 2012. There are also a run of limited edition posters being given away to celebrate the release so if you want to get your hands on one (and there only 50) send your FULL NAME and ADDRESS here: list@runtingzrecordings.co.uk

EP is the third release from Token Bass Recordings and one of the hottest Drumstep releases this year.

From the insane grime of the title track "Moon Men", to the slamming bass on the b side coming from "The Nexus" Destro efforts are sure to get the dancefloor moving.

Los Angeles/Orange County rising talent, Myles "Destro" Gregory has been making waves in California's dnb/dubstep scene for over many years now, with no signs of slowing down.

Back in 2007, Destro was internationally noticed for his collaborative efforts with Dirty Deeds, and their jump up style of jungle/dnb was signed onto Total Science's dancefloor label, FIX Recordings UK.

Destro also has a long list of digital releases to date from hot labels such as Sound Solution (NY/Toronto) Dub Selection (NY/Toronto), Betamorph (US) Lava (UK) and Magma Recordings (UK), and recently Faust & Shortee's multi-genre label Heavy Artillery Recordings.

He quickly found an affinity for jungle above all other styles; and heavily features reggae hooks, deep basslines and cut-up breaks in all his tracks.

Influenced mainly by early jungle and hardcore records, DJ L.A.B.'s Jungle Soundtest EP has a distinct old-school sound; ranging from the classic pads of "Where Did That Come From" to the heart-stopping bass and uplifting reggae vocals of "Soundtest" and "Big & Ready". Nickynutz steps it up with a storming remix of "Soundtest", which is sure to get everyone on the dancefloor.

With previous releases on Step Express, Knowledge and Wisdom, and JungleXpeditions, he has made a name for himself with quality tunes that explore the smoked-out side of breakbeat science.

“I try to produce music that I want to hear in the clubs. A lot of them are influenced by reggae/dub, jungle or soul, and sometimes a mix of all three. I always make sure the tunes I make sound weighty on the sound system, as a good bassline will always get the ravers moving.”

His second EP for JungleXpediitons "Chapter One in Dub" is a study of rough and rugged dubwise music and sits perfectly between ragga-jungle and drum and bass.

Originally a jungle / reggae / breakbeat DJ at free parties in East Anglia, he rose quickly through the ranks of the regional DJ scene, representing his co-run jungle label Satta Sounds.

With his background in jungle and reggae, it was no surprise his early production was focussed more on the ‘dub’ side of dubstep with heavy influences from artists such as Lee Perry, Radikal Guru, Roots Meetings and Vibronics. His first solo release was on the New Zealand label, DubPride Recordings.

After producing for just a year and a half, Killawatt has quickly established himself within the scene with his unique combination of influences from jungle, dub reggae, techno and tribal.
